How Do You Become a Pi Lam?

Evaluate Your Ability to Commit

Only you can decide if joining and actively participating in a fraternity is right for you. Membership in Pi Lam is fun and rewarding, but you should first evaluate your abilities and consider the fact that being a Pi Lam requires an investment of your time and finances, dedication, and perseverance.

Participate in the Recruitment Process - Rush!

The recruitment period is a time for you to evaluate the fraternities at your school and for them to evaluate you, as well. This Greek recruitment tradition, Rush, is really just a way for you to meet people and get a taste of fraternity life. During this period, you'll meet new people, attend fun events, and try to make a connection with men of similar ideals.

Attain and Accept a Bid

The keys to attaining a bid are attendance at functions, personality, adaptability, responsibility, leadership, and persistence. If we see things that we like in you, we'll likely extend to you an invitation to join, i.e., a Bid.

Accept your bid, and you will be inducted into a New Members class. During the next six to eight weeks, you'll learn more about Pi Lam and how to be a good Brother. If you meet our standards, you will be initiated, giving you the right to learn our secrets and wear the badge of Pi Lambda Phi.

More Information

You can learn so much more about our fraternity and our traditions by participating in our rush events.  Want us to get in contact with you?  Fill out the form.
